Job Specification
- Architectural Design: Design, develop, and implement Oracle Cloud solutions based on business requirements and industry best practices.
- Cloud Migration: Lead the migration of on-premises Oracle databases and applications to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), ensuring seamless integration and minimal downtime.
- Infrastructure Automation: Develop automation scripts and templates for provisioning, configuring, and managing Oracle Cloud resources using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize Oracle Cloud environments for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency, leveraging features such as Autonomous Database and Exadata Cloud Service.
- Security Implementation: Implement robust security measures in Oracle Cloud environments, including access control, encryption, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor the health and performance of Oracle Cloud services and applications, proactively identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Documentation and Training: Create comprehensive documentation, diagrams, and guidelines for Oracle Cloud architecture and best practices. Provide training and support to other team members as needed.
VMware
- Excellent knowledge of VMware ESXI platforms and VMware SDDC, Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of VMware vSphere (6.x to 8.x).
- Developing, maintaining, and supporting networks in NSX/NSX-T.
- Proficiency in VM migration techniques (vMotion, cold migration, Storage vMotion).
- Configuring and managing VMware features such as HA, FT, DRS, EVC, Host profiles, networking (NIC teaming, load balancing), vSwitches, and Distributed Switches.
- Knowledge of VM issue troubleshooting and performing updates using Update Manager and command line for ESX/ESXi Hosts.
- Knowledge on Oracle Cloud Vmware Solution.
Requirements
- 12-15 years of IT infrastructure management experience, focusing on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and VMWare technologies. Design, deploy, and manage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments. Architect highly available and scalable solutions on OCI, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement changes.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing VMWare to Oracle Cloud migration strategies, with hands-on experience executing complex migration projects.
- Relevant certifications such as OCI Certified (Architect/Professional) and VMware Certified Professional (VCP)are highly desirable.
